Welp. I did it again. I thought I was ready to get back to blogging, but life had other plans.

Tom had his surgery in early January, and while we expected a tough recovery, it turned out to be even more challenging than we anticipated. He needed an extra day in the hospital, but once we got him home, things improved quickly. Through it all, we were lifted by the love, prayers, and support of so many. And now, we have the best news—his latest PSA check showed no detectable cancer in his body! Praise the Lord!

For the past few months, I’ve been holding off on writing, waiting for clarity on what’s next. Now that Tom’s treatment is behind us (with ongoing PSA checks every 3-6 months), I feel ready to move forward—not just with blogging but also with something I’m truly excited about.

I recently enrolled in a Functional Medicine & Integrative Health course to become a certified health coach! Diving back into learning has been both challenging and rewarding. It’s incredible to rediscover how beautifully interconnected our bodies are—God’s design is truly amazing. My background in physical education, coaching, and teaching has always fueled my passion for wellness, and now I get to take that passion a step further. This certification will help me guide others who feel stuck in their health journey, and I can’t wait to share what I’m learning.

Another exciting step—I’m ready to dive back into Bible study! I've missed my Tuesday evening ladies! I’ll be leading a group of women through Priscilla Shirer’s Breathe, which explores the importance of Sabbath rest. As women, we often push ourselves to the point of exhaustion, forgetting that rest is not just a luxury—it’s God’s design. If you’re local and would like to join us, I’d love to have you! Click on the Spring Bible Study heading for a link to purchase the book, or send me a message for details.

Thank you for sticking with me through this journey. I’d love to hear from you—what new things are you learning these days? Drop a comment below!
